haymarket outing

Last Friday, I biked to Haymarket to meet up with Rachael of Erstwhile dear and her seriously adorable daughter, Lux (isn't that an awesome name?). I met Rachael in our BlogShop class and told her if she EVER needed photos of that baby girl, I'm her photographer! Luckily enough, she contacted me recently to help her with her Sakura Bloom Diaries post and I happily obliged. I have included 2 little sneak peeks from our shoot together, and will share more later once she publishes her blog post. This shoot was SO much fun : ) Here are some pics I took while wandering around before we met up:

hi friends! sorry for my absence... i'll put up more pics soon i promise. until then, here are some pretty flowers! they are from rouvalis flowers & gardens in beacon hill. tonight im meeting up with hilary and she's letting me take some portraits of her (she has a lot of patience). those will be up soon! and maybe i'll do an outfit post (just for your phoebes).

  Ross and I went to the North End earlier for some pizza & Mike's. It was COLD! I don't know what happened. I was in shorts and a t-shirt earlier today, and then I had to put on pants and a jacket for our excursion. Not pleased. Butttt we had a great time eating (which is one of my favorite things to do) and walking around. Being in the North End reminds me of living in Sicily, and of my best friend Margaret (hi M, I miss you). Remember when we (ok, I) used to eat 3 gelatos a day and then go for swims and lay out on the rocks? Those were the days.
